On X, Christofer Sundberg, the founder of Liquid Swords, confirmed that the studio is closing its doors. In his post, he explains, among other things, that Samson performed well on consoles, but that it wasn’t enough to save the company. We don’t know if the game will continue to receive updates following this announcement.

Samson came out on PC last April, then on consoles on September 21. This was Liquid Swords' first game... And the last, unfortunately.
The website Breakit reveals that the studio, led by Christopher Sundberg (co-founder of Avalanche Studios), hasn't paid its employees for several months now. They will receive compensation from the government. The court-appointed receiver was also looking for a buyer. Under these circumstances, the company was forced to file for bankruptcy.
For now, we don’t know exactly what the future holds for the studio, its developers, and Samson. The most likely outcome is that the project will end here.
