Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 ranks among Steam's bestsellers

Starting this Friday, October 16, 2026, the campaign for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will be available in Early Access. The Infinity Ward title will then officially launch on October 23.
This final stretch before release seems to have spurred players to buy the game. As of this writing, Modern Warfare 4 ranks third among Steam’s global bestsellers (by revenue). It is surpassed only by PUBG: Battlegrounds and DOTA 2, both of which are free-to-play titles.
The FPS has climbed 65 spots compared to last week. It even ranks first in the United States and second in France.
