Jak and Daxter: the movie is reportedly still in development at Sony

We have to go back to 2022 to find the announcement of the Jak and Daxter movie. Four years later, we still haven’t heard anything about this project based on the Naughty Dog video game. However, it doesn’t appear that the project has been canceled.
In a post on X, insider DanielRPK clarified that Sony still plans to move forward with the adaptation. The screenwriters of the Minecraft movie, Neil Widener and Gavin James, have reportedly even joined the production team. This information is listed on the film’s IMDb page. Ruben Fleischer (Venom, Uncharted) will direct it.
In 2023, rumors suggested that Tom Holland might play Jak and Chris Pratt would play Daxter.
