Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will run at up to 1440p on Switch 2

During the Nintendo Direct last week, the Japanese company confirmed that Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Royal Edition is coming to Switch 2. The game is set to launch in 2027.

Warhorse Studios subsequently revealed technical specifications for this new version. It will be capable of running at 1440p in docked mode and 1080p in handheld mode. Both resolutions will be upscaled.

The studio added that Joy-Con 2 mouse mode will be supported, as will HDR. The menu user interface will also be bigger to accommodate smaller screens. Finally, fixes will be applied to several gameplay bugs.
