(UPD) The PS5 version of Forza Horizon 6 is still scheduled for this year... but could end up being delayed

Updated September 8, 2026, at 4:25 p.m. BST

In a recent article, Tom Warren, a reporter for The Verge, reiterated that the PS5 version of Forza Horizon 6 will indeed be pushed back to early 2027. He cites sources close to Playground Games to back up his claim. The studio has publicly stated (for now) that the port will be released this year.

Original article

Playground Games and XBOX have remained very quiet regarding the release of the PS5 version of Forza Horizon 6. Keep in mind that the open-world racing game was originally slated to launch this year on Sony’s console.

Since last January, the studio hasn’t mentioned this PS5 port at all… until today. In an article published on the franchise’s website, Playground has reconfirmed that Forza Horizon 6 will launch on PlayStation 5 in 2026, without providing any further details.

The title is currently available to add to your wishlist on the PlayStation Store.
