Resonance A Plague Tale Legacy Review: excellent scores for the latest entry in the franchise

The highly anticipated Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is out today, but the press has had access to it for some time now, and reviews are finally available.

The game has received excellent scores, with a Metacritic average of 85% on PC (36 reviews), 80% on PS5 (51 reviews), and 84% on Xbox (8 reviews). Meanwhile, its OpenCritic score stands at 83%.

Overall, the game’s strong points are the story, polished visuals, engaging combat system, and accessibility options. That being said, the pacing is somewhat uneven and the title takes some risks that don't always pay off.
