Microsoft believes Starfield and Indiana Jones would have sold 10 million units on PS5 alone

When they bought ZeniMax Media, the parent company of publisher Bethesda Softworks, Microsoft announced that not all the publisher's games would necessarily become Xbox exclusives. However, Starfield and MachineGames' Indiana Jones will indeed only be available on the American manufacturer's consoles.

In a document published once again as part of its lawsuit with the FTC, Microsoft estimates that Starfield and Indiana Jones would have sold 10 million copies on the PS5 alone. And with this in mind, Xbox opted for exclusivity in the belief that it could recoup a similar amount through Game Pass and sales on Xbox.
