We may already know the identity of a game set to be revealed during Gamescom 2026 this week. This leak is extremely reliable since it comes from SteamDB.
The site now lists a game called Humankind 2, which was previously listed under the working title Cinnabar. The name change took place on August 25, likely in anticipation of its official announcement.
Humankind is a turn-based 4X strategy game released in August 2021 by AMPLITUDE Studios. Players could choose from 60 civilizations spanning from ancient to modern times as they led an empire to victory.
