Activision promises special optimization for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 PC version

Activision and Infinity Ward are sharing a lot of information about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 as part of the COD: NEXT event. Following the Switch 2 version, it’s now the PC version’s turn to take center stage.

As such, the PC version has been entrusted to Beenox. The studio will offer numerous customizable settings, optimized by default for players’ configurations. The developers will also work on improving the responsiveness of mouse-based gameplay.

Additionally, Modern Warfare 4 will launch faster without requiring a restart. Finally, it will be possible to preload shaders before launching the game. The stated goal is to offer "a more refined and higher-fidelity experience for PC players."
