, by Thibaut
A report recently published by Nikkei tells us that Sony intends to invest over $2 billion in research dedicated to its future games, all before the end of fiscal year 2024.
This colossal sum will largely be allocated to the famous "games as a service" that the was brand's focus during its latest PlayStation Showcase. So much so, in fact, that the Japanese firm aims to reserve 60% of its investments for titles in this category in the fiscal year ending March 2026.
