Capcom doesn't seem to be ruling out remakes for unnumbered entres of Resident Evil
, by Thibaut
In recent years, Resident Evil has been the finest example of remaking entries in a franchise. It has been a success so far, and Capcom intends to keep up the momentum.
At a meeting with shareholders, the Japanese publisher was asked whether the numbered Resident Evil games would be the only ones to be reworked for the current generation. Nevertheless, the company remained evasive on the subject, simply stating that it was "holding discussions on the future expansion of the series so that it can be enjoyed by a wide audience".
We can assume that Capcom is not averse to the idea of remaking of Resident Evil Code Veronica or even Resident Evil Outbreak.
