Halo 1 content not included in the final game will be restored

Here's something that should please all Halo lovers. Modding group Digsite, which has been working with 343 Industries for around a year, is set to restore content not included in the final version of the first entry.

We're talking about a good thirty maps for multiplayer, weapons, vehicles, enemies and even some wild animals that were supposed to roam the game maps. Some of these were originally developed by Gearbox for the PC port of Halo Combat Evolved.

Also, the demo of the title unveiled at Macworld 1999 will be added to the Master Chief Collection. Let's keep in mind that, in its early stages, Halo was conceived as a real-time strategy game. Digsite will be rehabilitating elements of this prototype.
