The Swarm update for No Man's Sky is available now

Hello Games is back to its old ways, rolling out a new update for No Man's Sky. It's called The Swarm, and it takes up 10.125 GB on PS5.

Among the new features in this free patch is The Swarm expedition, which tasks players with unraveling the mystery of the swarm to prevent its spread. A brand-new wasp-themed armor set also makes its debut, along with a monstrous alien ship to battle. The galaxy is also overrun by hordes of fast, heavily armed swarms.

In addition to these massive space battles, players can get their hands on an exclusive jetpack that buzzes and oscillates. Add to that ground-based enemies, new crew-related rewards, and other gear to earn.

Here's a new trailer showcasing the new features of this No Man's Sky 6.4 update.
