The next game from Media Molecule may feature open-world elements
, by Thibaut
Since the release of Dreams in February 2020, Media Molecule has completely disappeared from the radar. The British studio, owned by PlayStation, is known for its creative games such as LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway.
However, the online portfolio of an artist still working at the company may have revealed an interesting detail. This title will likely include "open-world" elements. This doesn’t mean the game will feature a fully open world, but the experience should be more open-ended and less linear than the studio’s previous titles.
The online resume also mentions "forage design". This suggests that our character will be able to collect resources to craft items.
It remains to be seen whether this mysterious title will feature the same community and sharing features as Media Molecule’s previous games.
