PlayStation registered the Break In trademark just before State of Play

Sony Interactive Entertainment filed a trademark on May 20. It could give us a first clue about a possible announcement during the State of Play event scheduled for June 2.

This is Break In, and it falls under the category of video games and entertainment services. It could refer to a title set to be officially announced in less than two weeks. However, another theory has been shared by the website Insider Gaming.

In reality, Break In could be the new name for Fairgame$, the multiplayer heist game from Haven Studio that was unveiled three years ago. Sony is reportedly looking to change the name in an attempt to make people forget the game’s underwhelming announcement in May 2023.
