The Mixtape devs promise the game won't be taken down due to licensed music

Upon its release on May 7, Mixtape received critical acclaim, with an 86% Metacritic score. Players have been a bit more mixed, with an average user rating of 6.3/10.

Furthermore, the narrative title created by the studio Beethoven and Dinosaur has found itself at the center of a rumor. Indeed, since the game features a significant amount of licensed music, some observers believed that it would be pulled from sale in the near future. This is due to the expiration of the rights in question. This phenomenon has led to the disappearance of many titles in the past.

Fortunately, publisher Annapurna Interactive has offered reassurance on the matter. In a brief message posted on X, the company stated that this rumor is false. Mixtape will therefore not be removed from stores due to the expiration of its music licenses.
