Now that its Early Access release is confirmed for May 14, 2026, Subnautica 2 can ramp up its marketing campaign.

Unknown Worlds has just revealed the system requirements for running the game on PC. The technical specifications are divided into four categories, which we’ll detail right away.

  • Operating system: Windows 10/11
  • Processor: Intel i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600
  • Graphics Card: NVIDIA GTX 1660 / AMD RX 5500XT

  • RAM: 12 GB

  • Performance: 1440p at 60 FPS with medium preset
  • Operating system: Windows 11
  • Processor: Intel i7-13700 / AMD Ryzen 7 7700X
  • Graphics card: NVIDIA RTX 3070 / AMD RX 6700XT
  • Video memory: 8 GB
  • RAM: 16 GB

Ultra

  • Performance: 1440p at 60 FPS with high preset
