As a result, the South Korean studio awarded 5 million won (approximately €2,893) to each of its 733 employees. This amounts to a total of €2.1 million distributed to the company’s staff. Heo Jin-young, CEO of Pearl Abyss, issued a statement.

« I express my deep respect and gratitude for the hard work of each and every one of you who created a product that has sparked enthusiasm around the world. I am awarding a celebratory bonus to all employees who have quietly fulfilled their duties, to celebrate reaching 5 million sales.
