Blizzard is helping Playground Games with Fable's cutscenes

During the latest Xbox podcast, Matt Booty, who was recently appointed Director of Content at Microsoft Gaming, shared examples of collaboration between the group’s various studios.

We learned that Blizzard Entertainment is assisting Playground Games with the creation of cutscenes for Fable. Compulsion Games, known for South of Midnight, is using Activision’s motion capture studio. Additionally, drawing on its experience with Sea of Thieves, Rare is assisting Double Fine on Kiln, the upcoming multiplayer title centered on pottery.

We can add to this the reuse of technologies from State of Decay 2 in Grounded. Finally, the experience Obsidian gained on the latter will be put to use on State of Decay 3. The circle is thus complete.
