It's over! The NieR: Cosmic Horror website is fake
, by Enzo
Just yesterday, one of our news articles mentioned a mysterious website featuring NieR: Cosmic Horror that had been spotted online. The studio behind the NieR franchise clarified today in a post on X that it has nothing to do with this website, leading us to conclude that it is a fake.
In fact, the site has changed its appearance: the countdown is no longer visible, the name has been crossed out with a glitch effect, and the “2026 Square Enix” text is no longer legible. Even crazier: a message in Japanese is now displayed, stating, "This site has nothing to do with a game franchise. It is an unofficial fan site... I'm sorry!"
