MachineGames' Indiana Jones game to be an Xbox and PC exclusive
, by Thibaut
On January 12, 2021, Bethesda Softworks and Lucasfilm Games formalized their partnership to create a new Indiana Jones game. The game is currently being developed by MachineGames, the studio behind Wolfenstein.
Since this announcement was made prior to Microsoft's takeover of ZeniMax Media, there was some doubt as to whether the game would be released on all platforms. Pete Hines, who is in charge of marketing at Bethesda, stated during the FTC hearing (as part of the Activision Blizzard takeover) that Indiana Jones will indeed be exclusive to the Xbox ecosystem.
We will be able to enjoy the archeologist latest adventure only on Xbox Series X|S and PC. What's more, the title will be included in Game Pass from launch.
