NieR: Cosmic Horror gets a mysterious website with a countdown
, by Enzo
While many in the video game industry didn’t miss the chance to pull an April Fools’ prank, Square Enix was no exception.
Yesterday, the studio announced NieR: Cosmic Horror with one of their posts on X. But a few hours later, seeing the massive reach the announcement had achieved, they announced that it was just a joke, as indicated by this news article.
Against all odds, a mysterious website was spotted this morning. It displays NieR: Cosmic Horror alongside a 19-day countdown. No information is currently available on the subject, but theories are already running rampant.
Here is the website in question: https://niercosmichorror.com/
