Sony won't share PS6 information with Activision if buyout goes through

As we all know, the atmosphere between Sony and Microsoft regarding the takeover of Activision Blizzard is a little tense, to say the least. For several months now, the japanese manufacturer has taken a firm stance against the acquisition... Going so far as to issue a kind of ultimatum to the publisher.

Last April, Jim Ryan, President of Sony Interactive Entertainment, stated that his company would not release any information about the PS6 to Activision if the merger with Microsoft went through. PlayStation does not wish to give confidential details to a publisher owned by a direct competitor.

If this is finally the case, it's hard to see how Call of Duty and other licenses held by the group could also be released on Sony machines.
