PlayStation will confirm its strategy to stop releasing single-player games on PC soon enough
, by Thibaut
Last month, we got the first details regarding Sony’s new PC strategy. The Japanese manufacturer is expected to stop porting its single-player titles to PCs. Only GAAS will likely receive a multiplatform release.
For now, the Japanese company has not openly confirmed this strategic shift. But it shouldn’t be long. According to Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier, Sony will make the announcement official in the near future. This could happen during a call with investors or when Housemarque launches the marketing campaign for Saros, which is scheduled for release on April 30, 2026. At that time, a journalist might ask about the game’s potential release on PC, to which PlayStation will have to respond.
Of course, we always urge caution until we receive official confirmation.
