Chained Echoes' Game Director will file a lawsuit over the non-delivery of physical editions

Chained Echoes was released in December 2022. The 16-bit RPG quickly became a hit, but got unfortunately caught up in controversy over its physical editions. Users who had ordered the boxed version have still not received their copies.

In a message posted on Kickstarter, Matthias Linda, the director of Chained Echoes, announced that he was ending his business relationship with distributor First Press Games. He will also be taking legal action against the group. At present, only the PS4 version has been delivered by FPG.

Matthias Linda also stated that contributors who paid to receive a physical edition will be entitled to a new edition from another publisher. Participants in the crowdfunding campaign can also request a refund via Kickstarter.
