Ubisoft provides updates on several Assassin's Creed games in development
, by Thibaut
Ubisoft has sought to clarify the future of Assassin's Creed in a lengthy article published on its website. For example, we were treated to the official announcement of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced and the announcement of the 60 FPS patch on consoles for Assassin's Creed Unity.
In addition, we learn that Assassin's Creed Shadows is in the final phase of its support. The frequency and scope of updates will be reduced in the coming months. A special live stream about the game will be broadcast on Twitch on March 20, 2026, starting at 6 p.m. Paris time. The French publisher also had things to tell us about future installments in the series.
Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe is being presented as a unique, "darker and more narrative-driven" experience. Ubisoft wants to take the time necessary to develop this title and will not be making any concrete announcements for a while.
Now it's time for Codename INVICTUS, a multiplayer PvP episode. The company intends to involve the community in the game's production as soon as possible. A team of experienced developers from Ubisoft Montreal, who cut their teeth on For Honor, is at the helm.
Finally, the mobile game Assassin's Creed Jade is still in development, and a Assassin's Creed co-op mode is being considered.
