Radical Entertainment is back as New Radical Games

Founded in 1991, Radical Entertainment has long been a studio beloved by gamers and critics alike. We owe them such titles as The Simpsons: Hit and Run, Crash Tag Team Racing, Scarface: The World Is Yours, and the Prototype franchise.

Activision subsequently relegated Radical Entertainment to a supporting role on Destiny. In 2006, three former employees founded Hothead Games, which specialized in creating mobile games.

This week, the two entities merged to form New Radical Games. On its website, the studio says it is ready to collaborate with other companies on co-development projects. The team is also capable of taking on complete game projects for consoles and mobile devices, metaverses, and real-time visual effects. Finally, New Radical offers to port and remaster existing games.

The studio han't announced any games in development yet.
