The next DLC for The Witcher 3 could offer an expansion of a region from the base game

We are still getting rumors about a possible new expansion for The Witcher 3. CD Projekt RED has yet to say anything on the matter, but many sources point to it releasing in May.
Rumors also suggest that players may be able to explore a new region such as Zerrikania. However, UV o grach, a former journalist at Gry-Online with strong connections in the Polish gaming industry, has heard a different story. According to him, the DLC will instead be an expansion of the Velen region.
Indeed, creating a completely new environment would have required a lot of effort from the studio, which is working hard on The Witcher 4. It remains to be seen whether these details will be confirmed or not.
