Monster Hunter Wilds welcomes patch 1.041

A major free update is now available for Monster Hunter Wilds. This Ver.1.041.00.00 is approximately 13 GB on PS5, 15 GB on PC (18 GB with the high-definition texture pack), and 16 GB on Xbox Series.

Among the key new features in the patch are the arrival of Arch-Tempered Arkveld, 10-star Arch-Tempered monsters, and a collaboration with Monster Hunter Stories 3.

In terms of technical improvements, the CPU and GPU load has been reduced on PC. Internal levels of detail (LOD) for 3D models are included, as is an optimization of monster spawn times. Added to this is an effects cache system to reduce CPU load when generating duplicate effects and an optimized rendering process to improve overall performance.
