Development of the next Tomb Raider won't be affected by Embracer's restructuring plan

After a week packed with exciting announcements, we soon knew some pretty bad news. On Tuesday, Embracer Group detailed its restructuring plan, which will result in lay offs, the closure of certain studios and the halting of various projects.

The Swedish company owns some pretty mythical licenses... Take Tomb Raider, for example! Following this week's announcement, fans feared for the future of Lara Croft's next adventure. Fortunately, Crystal Dynamics was quick to reassure everyone.

In a tweet, the studio asserts that the notorious restructuring will have no impact on the development of the next Tomb Raider or even that of Perfect Dark (developed in partnership with The Initiative).
