The RTX 5060 and RTX 5070 have seen a sharp increase in popularity on Steam
, by Thibaut
While the RTX 4060 remains the most widely used graphics card among Steam gamers, two other models saw their popularity skyrocket in January 2026, and all in spite of the current economic climate and sharply rising prices.
The RTX 5060 saw its popularity climb 40% between December 2025 and January 2026. It now powers 2.50% of PCs registered on Steam, compared to 1.78% a month earlier. The situation is similar for the RTX 5070, which rose from 2.41% to 2.87%, an increase of 19%. It is the most widely used GPU in the RTX 50 range on Steam.
Joining the RTX 4060 on the podium are the RTX 3060 in second place and the RTX 4060 Laptop GPU in third place.
