Skyrim has sold over 60 million copies

This year, Bethesda Game Studios' RPG celebrates its twelfth anniversary. And while the sixth entry in The Elder Scrolls saga is still some way off, Skyrim is still going strong even though its age.

In an interview with IGN, Todd Howard, the director of Skyrim (and the much-anticipated Starfield), pointed out that the game has sold over 60 million units worldwide. An impressive number, but well helped by the many versions of the game released over the years. Since 2011 and the PS3 / Xbox 360 generation, the fifth The Elder Scrolls has been released on almost every platform possible.
