Metroid Prime 4 was Kensuke Tanabe's last game at Nintendo.

Kensuke Tanabe joined Nintendo in 1986. Over the past 40 years, he has worked on legendary titles such as Super Mario Bros. 2, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Link's Awakening, and the Metroid Prime series.

Tanabe has announced that Metroid Prime 4 will be his last game at Nintendo. He will be replaced by producer Risa Tabata, who will take his place as producer on a potential future entry.

This marks the departure of yet another iconic figure at Nintendo.
