Hytale becomes the most watched game on Twitch on the day of its early access launch

Hytale has certainly been the talk of the town this past few days.

The famous sandbox game from the creators of the Minecraft Hypixel server is enjoying phenomenal success. Live on Twitch yesterday, it managed to dethrone the most popular game, taking first place among the most-watched games in real time with more than 420,000 viewers.

At the time of writing, Hytale is the third most-watched game on the Twitch platform, surpassing even perennial podium occupants such as Valorant, Grand Theft Auto V, and more recently ARC Raiders.

Hytale is currently available on PC in early access via its own independent launcher.
