PlayStation won't show up at Gamescom

While E3 was shunned by all manufacturers and publishers this year (leading to the show's eventual cancellation), Gamescom has always enjoyed a powerful presence from the gaming industry.
Despite this, Sony is likely to keep silent this year. Indeed, a spokesperson for the Japanese brand has reportedly stated that PlayStation will not have a booth at the German show this summer. But that won't stop the event from taking place from August 23 to 27. Keep in mind that Geoff Keighley will be holding the Gamescom Opening Night Live conference on August 22.
