ARC Raiders could be adapted into a movie or TV series

With over 12 million copies sold, ARC Raiders has become a really popular franchise. It's no surprise, then, that production companies are interested in adapting the shooter for the big or small screen.

In an interview with GamesBeat, Embark Studios head Patrick Söderlund and Nexon CEO Owen Mahoney talked about their cash cow. Söderlund also revealed that he had received proposals to create an adaptation of the game.

"I can't tell you how many companies have contacted me about adapting the license into a TV series and movie."

In any case, he explained that such a project must be done properly and that he would find it fun to see it come to fruition.
