Kojima will launch the casting for PHYSINT, his new action-espionage game, this game

After launching Death Stranding 2: On the Beach last year, Kojima Productions will have a lot of work on other projects in 2026. Hideo Kojima himself mentioned this in a message posted on X.

First, he stated that development of OD, the horror game developed in partnership with Xbox, will continue. The Japanese creator also spoke about PHYSINT, his action-espionage title produced in tandem with PlayStation.

For this second game, Kojima intends to move forward with preparations this year. This includes crucial steps such as casting actors, scanning their faces, and performance capture.

Finally, live-action filming will also take place for the movie Death Stranding, as well as work for some animation projects based on the franchise.
