The Sucker Punch co-founder leaves studio

Brian Fleming, co-founder and longtime head of Sucker Punch Productions, is leaving the company, marking the end of an era for the developer behind Ghost of Tsushima, Ghost of Yōtei, and other franchises. Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that Jason Connell and Adrian Bentley will take on the roles of co-heads of the studio starting January 1, 2026, continuing the creative and technical work. In an interview, he explained that the studio remains focused on one project at a time.

Connell was co-creative director on the Ghost series, while Bentley was technical director, ensuring internal continuity of leadership.

Fleming had led Sucker Punch for nearly 28 years, contributing to major successes and establishing the studio as one of the main pillar of PlayStation Productions.
