New images and a release date for Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name

PlayStation Store has spilled the beans on Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. Indeed, the next entry in the franchise has seen its page untimely appear on Sony's online store (with several images to boot).

The game will be released on PlayStation 4 and 5, PC, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on November 9. Owners of the PS4 version will be able to obtain the PS5 version at no extra cost. A local multiplayer mode for up to two players will also be included.

The story will take place after the events of Yakuza 6, with Kazuma Kiryu as the main character. He has staged his own death in order to give up his name to better protect his family. Alas, a mysterious threat will try to draw him out of hiding. With two combat systems to defeat goons, and numerous mini-games (remote-controlled car races, cabaret...) to enjoy, this will be an adventure for the ages.
