It's official now: the next season of Call of Duty kicks off on June 14 on all platforms. Activision has detailed the contents of Season 4, which we'll be able to see in action this afternoon at Summer Game Fest.
One of the key additions is a map called Vondel, which is "the waterfront district of a Baroque European city where centuries of old-world history blends with modern architectural developments". This map will also include a dynamic fog system, a new amphibious tactical vehicle, as well as a public event. It will be playable in "DMZ", "Resurgence" and "Containment" modes, with battle royale coming later.
DMZ mode will also receive several improvements, multiplayer will feature six additional maps and some new packs, weapons and events will also be added. Last but not least, the operator line-up will include Nikto And Ana Vega this time.
