Embracer is said to have sold Tomb Raider to Amazon for 600 million dollars

Last May, the Swedish group Embracer acquired Square Enix's North American division for 285 million euros. At the same time, the company also acquired the rights to the Tomb Raider license. Today, a rumor suggests that these rights have been sold to Amazon for the hefty sum of 600 million dollars. The American giant will publish the next game developed by Square Enix. A series and a new film, both produced by Amazon, are also in the works. Embracer has not yet confirmed the information.
