The announcement of Control 2 at The Game Awards seems to be taking shape

At the end of November, the Control Resonant trademark was registered in Europe. Many assumed that Remedy Entertainment was about to announce the second installment of the franchise.

This rumor has gained traction today, as insider Shinobi subtly teased the game's presence at the 2025 Game Awards. On the ResetEra forum, one user said it was too early for the Finnish studio to publicly mention Control 2, to which Shinobi replied, "Are you sure?"

So this new Control could be one of the major announcements at this year's Game Awards.
