A fake Shenmue 4 trailer is making the rounds on the Internet

Fans of Shenmue may have believed the announcement of the fourth installment of the franchise is coming. A trailer was posted on YouTube on December 4, suggesting that the game will be released on console and PC in 2026.
Of course, this leak about Shenmue 4 is unfortunately fake. YS Net confirmed so on its social media accounts in a statement. The Japanese company apologized and even intends to take legal action.
The Japanese company's logo was used to make the video in question, which could constitute a trademark infringement.
