According to leaks, 5-player squads are coming to Fortnite

Recent leaks suggest that Fortnite players are getting a new game mode that allows them to team up in groups of 5.

In a post on X by @Fecooo_, screenshots show that Epic Games has added a "sub link code" that directly references new matchmaking options with teams of 5 players.

For reference, the arrival of 5-player teams would be the first major change to Battle Royale mode since the introduction of Trios in 2019, which was only supposed to be a temporary game mode before becoming permanent.
