During its showcase, Xbox won’t be showing off its exclusives with CGI videos

It’s a common criticism of videogame events nowadays. Today, many games are announced via simple CGI videos. A somewhat disingenuous practice used to show off a project that in the early parts of development, or to hide a title's true graphical appearance.
And while Xbox has long resorted to this stratagem, CGI trailers are unlikely to feature much at the Showcase on June 11. In a tweet, Aaron Greenberg, head of marketing for the brand, declared that no exclusives will be shown via CGI-only videos. "None of our first party games in the show are full CG trailers. Everything is either in-game footage, in-enginge footage, or in-game footage with some cinematics. Each of our traillers will be labeled so it is hopefully clear for our fans."
Finally, Greenberg also stated that some of the titles unveiled during the Xbox Games Showcase will be released beyond a 12-month period. So we'll also know more about what will the future for the platform look like.
