Ubisoft delays announcement of financial results and suspends trading of its shares

Ubisoft made a very intriguing decision on November 13, 2025. The French company, which was due to publish its financial report for the past six months, decided to postpone its announcement.

The press release came just 15 minutes before the famous presentation on Thursday. In addition, the company's stock listing has also been temporarily suspended. According to Daniel Ahmad, an analyst at Niko Partners, such a move occurs when an important announcement is to be made. It could, for example, be related to an acquisition. However, it is also possible that a calculation error simply slipped into the financial report. This would require the publisher to revise its report.

In his statement, Frédérick Duguet, Ubisoft's CFO, did not give a specific reason.

"Hello everyone, I wanted to let you know that we are taking more time to finalize the end of the semester and, as a result, we will be publishing our first-half results in the next few days instead of tonight.

Due to legal obligations, we are unable to provide any further information at this time. In order to limit speculation and market volatility during this brief period, we have asked Euronext to suspend trading of our shares until the results are published.

We know that this may raise questions and fuel media coverage. I encourage you to listen to the conference call—which will be available in the Investors section of our website—immediately after the results are published to get a more detailed view of our earnings."
