ARC Raiders is one of the highest-rated multiplayer shooters in history

Since its release on October 30, ARC Raiders has truly became one of the best online shooters of 2025. The title from Embark Studios has performed incredibly well in its genre.

With a Metacritic average of 87% (based on 17 reviews), ARC Raiders is the second highest-rated multiplayer-only shooter of the last ten years. Only Overwatch (2016) has done better, with an average of 91%.

The quality of the title is also unanimously recognized by internet users, with a Metacritic score of 8.8/10 based on 289 reviews. The same is true on Steam, with "very positive" ratings of 93% favorable reviews out of the 1,436 published to date.
