Build a Rocket Boy brings back MindsEye with ARCADIA, its new community platform

The Build a Rocket Boy studio has announced a major update for MindsEye, marked by the introduction of ARCADIA, a platform bringing together missions, races, and challenges created by players. Presented now as the heart of the game, ARCADIA appears to be a revamp of the former Everywhere project, which was intended to unify content and experiences.

At the same time, we have some new movement mechanics, such as dodging. This sort of soft launch comes after several difficult months for Leslie Benzies' studio. Dozens of employees recently denounced difficult working conditions, and the game's initial launch was a critical and commercial failure. Thus, ARCADIA represents an attempt at a fresh start for MindsEye, which is still seeking to regain the public's attention.
