Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 footage on latest PlayStation Showcase is not from the final game

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 appearance at the latest PlayStation Showcase left an impact on the audience. While most were left speechless and found the demo graphically impressive, others noted some graphical imperfection, such as the water’s rendering or the symbiote’s costume.

On twitter, James Stevenson (Insomniac Games’ Community Manager) clarified that the demo’s footage was not taken from the final version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. We can therefore assume that there is still room for improvement and the game will be fine-tuned come its launch in autumn later this year.
