The Witcher 3 exceeds 50 million copies sold

On its initial release in May 2015, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt received both the critique and players acclaim. And it didn’t stop there, no. The game also received ports to Switch and current-generation consoles.

All these different versions only made the game more popular, helping it find its way into more and more homes. In fact, CD Projekt RED has announced that The Witcher 3 has sold over 50 million units worldwide, and the franchise as a whole has sold over 75 million.

The Polish studio is currently hard at work on a number of projects related to the popular Witcher saga, such as a remake of the first entry, a new trilogy and a title with both single and multiplayer elements.
